When it comes to being a property investor, different people approach their investments in different ways. It is due to this fact that many of these property investors find that the moment that the market turns against them their investment decisions are now actually putting them under financial pressure and all of a sudden it is the markets fault that they are in financial trouble.

The truth however is something completely different, I as a Wealth Creator understand that I need to be able to take responsibility for my own investment decisions and I need to make my investment decisions sustainable even in the worst market conditions, if I am not able to do this then the investment decisions which I am making can very easily turn out to be my downfall.

Now this is where the secret to being a successful property investor comes in and you won’t believe how simple it really is, it is however the application of this secret which might challenge our mindsets and cause us to have to leave our comfort zones and open ourselves up to a whole new way of thinking.

The financial world has indoctrinated us to believe that the higher the risk of our investment, the higher our growth on our investment will possibly be, I as a Wealth Creator however do not agree with this. I personally believe that we need to maximize our growth and minimize the risk in order to be able to make the correct investment decisions.

I am a firm believer that growth on investment is far more secure and reliable than capital growth, the reason for this is that capital is what I like to call a phantom investment as the market dictates its value, where as income generated by investment growth is far more constant and tangible and the market has little or no effect on it.

Once you manage to understand this concept and take the time to invest in yourself so as to be able to apply it correctly, then and only then will you have learned the secret to being a successful property investor.

The sad part is that the majority of people have been so conditioned by the financial institutions and other ‘experts’ to believe otherwise and it is for this reason that they never actually find the true harmony and peace of mind of being an informed and educated property investor.

The minute however that you know how to do the calculations and to accurately evaluate your investment decision, the less fearful you become and the more action you will be willing to take, it is as simple as that. The more we invest in ourselves so as to remove the fear caused by ignorance in our lives, the easier it becomes for us to begin to take action on our investment decisions and the closer we come to being a successful property investor and the more chance we stand to become a Wealth Creator.
